Makenzie here, Ilhan's Finance Director. I'm reaching out because I made a difficult decision earlier this month.

It has become clear that in order to keep growing our coalition of supporters all across the country, we're going to need to scale up our investments in digital organizing and advertising.

The money wasn’t originally in our November advertising budget. But I gave the green light anyway.

It was a risk, there's no doubt about it. But right now our campaign must be doing everything we can to make sure Ilhan is prepared to take on a primary challenge and millions of dollars in outside spending.

So I made a bet that if I asked, you would help fill the gap. And I’m really hoping you will. For Ilhan. And for everyone who cares about Ilhan continuing to represent our movement in Congress.
