John, it’s officially Giving Tuesday, our biggest opportunity of the entire year to grow our movement to end gun violence in our schools and communities.
We’ve set a goal of $50,000 by tonight’s midnight deadline – every dollar of which will make it possible to empower our teachers, start new Future Teachers Unify chapters on college campuses, and host our first ever summit.
It’s an incredibly ambitious goal, but it’s also critical to winning the fight for safer schools, so we cannot afford to fall short now. On this day of giving, will you join our grassroots movement by making a tax-deductible donation to Teachers Unify? >>
Over the past few years, we’ve seen an alarming increase in gun violence. This year, there have been more mass shootings than days.
And as teachers, we’re dealing with this every day: prepping our classrooms to have good hiding spots, thinking of escape plans… and in the worst moments, mourning our students and colleagues when gun violence reaches our schools.
That’s why we started Teachers Unify. To empower teachers to turn their anger and sadness into action. To give us a voice in the fight for safer schools. To influence policies to make us all safer.
But, John, this all slows down dramatically if we fail to hit our $50,000 goal. We’d be looking at a very different budget than expected – and can’t guarantee our whole 2024 agenda will still be possible.
We’re entirely reliant on generous donations from people like you to fund our critical work to end gun violence. Whether it’s $100, $25, or even $1 – every dollar counts!
Right now, we’re still $25,000 short of our goal. Please, before our midnight deadline, lock in your Giving Tuesday gift to help us fight for safer schools >>
Thank you,
Teachers Unify to End Gun Violence
