We were SO touched to receive this note, and want to be able to provide that peace of mind to every single person who comes to us seeking assistance with their $495 DACA renewal fee — but the truth is, we have a very long waitlist of folks unable to renew their DACA status without our help.
Renewing DACA status is critical for eligible folks because DACA allows them to keep their work permits and stay protected from deportation. If someone can’t cover the renewal fee, they risk losing their safety and livelihood.
