We assure them that there’s a world of people who will embrace them for who they are. Trevor offers this support because it can be life-saving. When LGBTQ+ young people report feeling accepted by just one adult, their odds of attempting suicide are significantly lower. In many instances, by more than 40% according to Trevor research.
