We’ve achieved major wins in recent months, including the passage of an All-Electric Buildings Act in New York State, and much-needed bills at the city level to prevent children from being exposed to lead paint in their homes.
But next year is a year of uncertainty and renewed challenges. We must continue to advance equitable clean energy policies at the city, state, and federal levels; fight back against the buildout of fossil fuel infrastructure, particularly liquified natural gas; and ensure the successful implementation of the Justice40 initiative and funding legislation like the Inflation Reduction Act.
