Pledge
Catholic...on Giving Tuesday!
Dear Friend,
Today, marks #GivingTuesday for 2023 which is a global
celebration of giving and generosity. It is a wonderful opportunity to
practice gratitude.
I am sure that you also have received many gifts and
blessings from God which He has so generously and lovingly given to
each and every one of us.
The one who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food
will supply and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your
righteousness. You are being enriched in every way for all generosity,
which through us produces thanksgiving to God. (2 Cor
9:10-11)
Giving Back to God
Giving Tuesday presents us with another chance to
express our gratitude for all we have received. On this special giving
day, faithful people raise awareness to causes we care about, and they
volunteer and donate money to charitable organizations of their
choice.
The argument has been made in various secular arenas that ‘if
you want to do something for your children and grandchildren and to
show how much you love them, the single best thing - by far – is to
support organizations that will make the world a better place for them
to live’. In the lists associated with those calls to charity, the
Catholic Church is rarely to be found.
At Catholic Action for
Faith and Family, we strongly believe the Catholic Church is
the only institution in the world established to help people save
their souls! While acknowledging the importance of the
Corporal Works of Mercy which many organizations carry out, there
is no more important work than this spiritual work of mercy,
which is the proper work of the Church as a
whole.
Pledge
Catholic!
The hard
reality is that over the last 50 years, more than 26 million Americans
have left the Catholic faith, along with millions more in Canada.
There are many other alarming trends to suggest our long-term future
is far from secure. Vocations are not at replacement level, Baptisms
are down, Catholic marriages are down, the Church influence is weaker
than it has ever been, etc.
Can we agree that realizing a future world without the
Catholic Church is unacceptable? Firstly, as this #GivingTuesday movement moves to the fore today
where people donate money to the charitable organizations of their
choice, let’s make a meaningful impact by prioritize pledging
Catholic!
Secondly, I would like to ask you to keep us in your
considerations and help with your gift on this special day. Please click here to give! Every penny counts in
our efforts to transform the world by reconquering our nation and our
world for Christ.
Our mission is clear at Catholic Action for Faith and
Family: Restoring our society to its foundational Christian order by
strengthening Faith and Family according to the teachings of the Roman
Catholic Church. Therefore, your donation is crucial for us to
continue to carry our this mission that was founded over 15 years ago
by myself and Cardinal Burke.
Following my recent sit down
with His Eminence, I strongly believe our most important,
ground-breaking years will be 2023-2025 across all of our
programs.
Rest assured that we are determined more
than ever to:
- Recruit both Catholic Religious and the Laity worldwide to join
together for Operation Storm Heaven as we march to our goal of
1,000,000 members worldwide praying in unison on the first of every
month.
- Advance Cardinal Burke’s apostolates designed to guard the
Catholic faith handed down by the Apostles and hold together in a
Catholic way, doctrine, morals and praxis.
- Build A Faithful Echo Movement dedicated to drawing the clergy and
the lay faithful in ever closer unity to combat the darkness of the
present confusion, error and division in the Church.
- Introduce other programs, campaigns and events that will be
announced in the first quarter of 2024.
Your
gift of $20, or more, will sustain and enable us to continue to
bring the light of Truth and to bring Hope to faithful families, as
well as our initiatives dedicated to supporting priests and
seminarians. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
May God through the Blessed Virgin Mary
bless you and all of your loved ones immensely.
Yours gratefully in Christ,
Thomas J. McKenna
