We at Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC (Advancing Justice | AAJC) are excited to kick off this season of gratitude. This Giving Tuesday we have decided to do the giving, so we’re giving thanks to YOU! Thank you for being a valued member of the Advancing Justice | AAJC community, for all of your energy and support! Your kindness and generosity are at the core of our work to advance the civil and human rights of Asian Americans nationwide.
Together this year, we advanced the civil and human rights of Asian Americans. Our successes would not have happened without your support. We are thankful for all the moments when you took time to build a fairer and equitable society with us. Whether you signed petitions advocating for a pathway to citizenship, volunteered for the voter hotline, attended our Bystander trainings, engaged on social media, or contributed in a million other ways, we want to thank YOU for your work and trust in our organization.
Take a look back at what other progress you inspired this year:
In the last year, our Voting and Litigation team won victories in court against threats targeting voters of color and naturalized voters in Arizona.
In August, we had the honor to co-chair the Cross-Racial, Cultural and Generational March on Washington for its 60th anniversary. We joined tens of thousands to reflect on the march sixty years later to remember the power of unity and collective action. Dr. King's dream lives on, and the work for a more just and inclusive society for all continues.
Our Fall Youth Leadership Summit cohort convened for our annual multi-day leadership development program, focusing on advocacy, communications, and civic engagement around policy issues impacting our communities from college campuses to Capitol Hill.
