Friend,

Today is Giving Tuesday, a day when people and organizations use our collective
strength to effect social change and improve our communities.

At the time of this writing, the news is full of stories about what the forces
of hatred plan to do next in their cruel and relentless fight against vulnerable
immigrant families. Not just that, they are also planning to start attacking the
very organizations who help these families get a fair break. NILC is at the top
of their list because of our long track record of winning for low-income
immigrant families.

That’s why this year, we’ve set the goal of $150,000 to ensure that we have the
necessary resources to protect low-income immigrants and their loved ones across
the country. Now more than ever, we need your help to fight back and fight
forward.

Will you help us kick off this Giving Tuesday strong and become a donor today?

[[link removed]]For centuries, immigrants have built a rich tapestry of culture, art, and
community in this country. It’s hard to find a part of everyday life in the
United States that immigrants have not shaped and influenced.

Immigrants have been instrumental in the fight for justice, including workers’
rights, racial justice, and women’s rights — movements that have fundamentally
changed the fabric of our society.

Our work centers the humanity and dignity of all people in our collective fight
for justice. We are fighting for immigrant justice in court and working hard to
expand freedom and opportunity for immigrant communities. Everyone, no matter
where we come from, should have the freedom to thrive.

NILC’s work is crucial to so many immigrant families across the country, and we
depend on committed supporters like you to sustain this important work.

About those news stories I mentioned: While it would be easy to get (more)
angry, we simply can’t. Instead, we need to channel this energy to get even —
against a very well-funded foe.

Your crucial support will help ensure we have the resources we need to continue
this critical fight into 2024 and beyond.

Friend, please become a donor this Giving Tuesday to
support our mission. Together, we can fight back and fight forward to build a
future where everyone has the opportunity to succeed and freedom to thrive —
regardless of where they were born.
