In a heartfelt conversation with PEN America this month, singer-songwriter P!nk said, “Books have held a special joy for me from the time I was a child, and that’s why I am unwilling to stand by and watch while books are banned by schools.” 

A few days later, we joined P!nk to give away thousands of banned books at her South Florida concerts to draw attention to a censorship crisis that is sweeping the country.
