In the past few months alone, UNFPA has been responding to emergencies in Gaza, Afghanistan, Libya, Morocco, the Congo, and more regions across the globe.

Our work to deliver lifesaving care to women and girls — whose needs too often go unnoticed when a crisis strikes — is fueled by the generous gifts made by donors like you.

This Giving Tuesday, we are matching the first $150,000 raised, meaning you can double the impact of your humanitarian gift — but only until midnight.

One region where we’ve been rushing emergency care to over the past weeks has been Gaza. There is currently a humanitarian pause in the conflict there, which gives us a brief window to rush in extra amounts of lifesaving aid. Your Giving Tuesday gift will ensure we can take full advantage of this pause and deliver urgently needed humanitarian aid into Gaza — ensure safe births for the 5,000 women who will give birth this month, and provide lifesaving medicines, care, and services for those impacted by the worsening crisis.

2X-Match: Humanitarian gifts urgently needed in Gaza

Before the match expires at midnight, will you make a humanitarian gift to double your impact? Make a 2x-matched gift to deliver humanitarian aid to women and girls in Gaza and wherever help is needed most.

UNFPA is committed to standing with every woman and girl, no matter what. We condemn the violence in Israel and Gaza and echoes the UN Secretary-General’s call for a full and sustained humanitarian ceasefire, for the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages by Hamas, and for the ongoing delivery of sustained humanitarian relief at scale that meets the needs of the people of Gaza.

Thank you for being there for women and girls.
