Dear John,

Today is #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving back to the causes and organizations closest to your heart. I know that you care deeply about the work Treatment Advocacy Center does to change the way society views and treats those with severe mental illness.

As President of TAC’s Board of Directors, I do too, and that is why I am asking you to make a generous donation today to help fund and further TAC’s research, education, and advocacy efforts.

My colleagues on TAC’s board are motivated to serve for specific, often personal, reasons: lived experience with loved ones with SMI; a heartfelt desire to contribute; and a collective vision of a more promising future, where treatment is readily available and accessible to those who need it most.

Earlier this year, a few of our board members gathered and put together this video, encapsulating the spirit and shared mission of TAC in their own words.

We at TAC remain steadfast in our commitment to remove barriers to the treatment of SMI. We will not rest until the most vulnerable members of our community have access to the tools and treatment they need to lead their best and healthiest lives.

This #GivingTuesday, make your tax-deductible donation and help TAC scale its effort to help individuals, families, and a country in desperate need of change.

With gratitude,

Dr. Michael Knable, DO, DFAPA
President of the TAC Board
