At Trevor, we don’t want a single LGBTQ+ young person to go without a caring ally — a trusted parent, teacher, coach, faith leader, school counselor, or other adult who supports them just as they are. For us, that starts with our crisis counselors: dedicated staff and volunteers who are available 24/7/365.

We know the support we offer can be life-saving. When LGBTQ+ young people report feeling accepted by just one adult, their odds of attempting suicide are significantly lower. In many instances, by more than 40% according to Trevor research.
