Earlier today, State Senator Blaise Ingoglia filed a constitutional amendment that would ban reparations for slavery in the State of Florida.

When asked about the issue, Senator Ingoglia stated: “Voters deserve a voice on whether their tax dollars should be used [to] further the agendas of candidates or elected officials who engage in race baiting tactics for political gain."

Note: Earlier this year, a state panel in California considered implementing reparation payments of up to $1.2 Million per person (view ([link removed]) ) and found that the total cost to the State of California would be around $800 Billion (view ([link removed].) ).
