Dear Friends and Colleagues,
In the interest of public health, we all need to do our part to reduce the risks of infection by trying to avoid exposure to the novel coronavirus.
This year’s Annual Meeting "Arms Control, Nonproliferation & Disarmament: Into the Next Decade,” originally scheduled for April 24, 2020, will be postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
We look forward to seeing you and other colleagues on Nov. 13, which is the tentative new date for our Annual Meeting. We will share the updated program as the new meeting date approaches.
We thank those who have already registered for the meeting and those who have contributed with sponsorships. Your registration will be honored for the rescheduled meeting.
If you cannot attend the rescheduled meeting in November, we will be happy to give you a refund at your request. Please contact us at [email protected] if you wish to do so, or if you have further questions.
Speakers and panelists at our rescheduled 2020 Annual Meeting will address topics including:
- The uncertain future for the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty;
- The 2020 NPT Review Conference;
- The precarious condition surrounding the Iran nuclear deal; and
- Nuclear weapons policy priorities and challenges for the next presidential administration.
We look forward to seeing you later this year.
Thank you and please be safe,
Daryl G. Kimball
