The GOP tried to kick me out of Congress once, and they’ll try again

Fair Shot PAC

From Fair Shot PAC:

Hey team – I’m Congresswoman Lucy McBath, a proud Democrat representing Georgia’s 7th district. I never thought I’d become an activist, but everything changed when my son Jordan was shot and killed in November 2012.

As a grieving mother, I decided I had to turn my pain into purpose. I began working as an organizer and activist for gun safety organizations and eventually ran for Congress in a district deemed impossible for Democrats to win. So-called “experts” told me not to raise the issue of gun safety reform in Georgia, but I knew my community better.

I’ve become a leading voice on gun violence prevention in Congress, but a recent court ruling has put my reelection into question. Republicans in the state legislature are redrawing Congressional maps and I need to be ready for any outcome. Can you please pitch in a $10 donation between myself and Fair Shot PAC to help prepare me for this fight?

DONATE $10

You see, my outspokenness on the gun violence epidemic has put a target on my back. The NRA (and the GOP politicians they back) have been attacking me for years. They know I won’t back down, and they’ve done everything they can to force me out of Congress.

On November 29th, Georgia Republicans have another opportunity to redraw Congressional maps. They already tried to gerrymander me out of my seat in 2021, and I have to be ready if they attack me again.

We’ve set a goal of raising $20,000 in grassroots donations by the end of November to make sure I’m prepared for what will be a highly contested reelection campaign. Can I count on you to split a donation between my campaign and Fair Shot PAC ASAP?
