Friend — Below is today’s earlier message from Artem, a team member in Ukraine who’s set a personal $50,000 Giving Tuesday fundraising goal. Artem asked if you would help him in his mission to do everything we can to help children and families survive and recover from violence and health emergencies. Until tomorrow, matching funds will triple your generous gift. As humanitarian disasters continue and intensify in Ukraine, Sudan, Gaza and communities across the globe, please help bring healing, help and 3X the HOPE where it’s most in need.

Provide 3X the Healing and Help Artem Reach His Goal

Project HOPE Ukraine staff together with the Mobile Medical Unit team helping local residents who live 12km to the frontline in Zaporizhzhia oblast, Ukraine. The population of the village consists of many elderly and people with low mobility, who are unable to travel to the nearest medical facility. That is why our mobile medical units come straight to their homes to provide them with medical consultations, assistance, and, when needed, medicines.

Hi Friend,

I’m Artem, and this is my story… After Russia’s full-scale invasion of my country, I put aside my life as a singer and composer to join Project HOPE and help others. Now I help tell the stories of fellow Ukrainians who, like so many other people around the world, are living through violent conflict and displacement — many without health care, medicines, or even clean water.

I speak to mothers who spent months hiding in basements with their traumatized families, children who’ve lost their parents, and elderly people who have no way to get care. It’s heartbreaking to hear what they’re going through — and to know millions of people in places like Gaza, Sudan and Haiti are facing the same dire reality.

Fortunately, I know that as a Project HOPE team member, I can help. And if you’ll take a moment to join me today, we can do even more to save lives. That’s why I’m setting a personal goal to raise $50,000 for by 11:59 PM tomorrow, Giving Tuesday.

Right now, every $1 you donate will become $3 to help rush clean water, medications, hygiene kits and other critical support to Ukraine and people around the world.

The Power of Your Giving Tuesday Generosity 3x

Callout image 1: Savina is a Roma refugee woman from Odesa, Ukraine who has lived for more than a year in a Roma community shelter in Chisinau, Moldova. Project HOPE’s partner, The Moldova Project, built a playroom in the shelter that her children have used. It is one of nine playrooms we have funded across Moldova.
Callout image 2: Natalia and her son, Gennaidy, are Ukrainian refugees from Odesa living in Krakow, Poland. Gennaidy has special health needs and recently had an operation to remove his teeth after developing a life-threatening infection. He is undergoing physical therapy at Accessible World, a Project HOPE partner in Krakow that provides physical therapy and rehabilitation services, along with art therapy, yoga, language classes, and more to help Ukrainian refugees protect their physical and mental health.
Callout image 3: Olena with her sons Luca and Pavel at the TUTU center in Rzezsow. Olena is a Ukrainian refugee from Zhytomyr, Ukraine living in Rzezsow, Poland with her husband and seven children. Thanks to Project HOPE and our partner, PSAR, Olena is able to bring her children to the TUTU Center for activities together.

You can help people like Savina, Gennaidy and his mother, Natalia, and Olena and her two sons get medications, primary care and community support as they rebuild their lives after fleeing Ukraine.

What I love about my job is that it’s meaningful work that truly makes a difference in the lives of families in my community and beyond. This wouldn’t be possible without generous people like you who give to Project HOPE. You are an essential part of our team.

When I look back on this time, I want to know I did everything in my power to help people recover from violent conflicts and disasters. I hope you will too. With this chance to TRIPLE the power of your generosity, I ask you to be as generous as you can. But please know that no donation is too small — and every dollar brings 3X the healing, help and HOPE across the world!

Dyakuyu (Thank you),
