β€Œ β€ŒFriend β€”

Eleven days ago, I launched our campaign for the open seat in Washington's 6th Congressional District. I've been floored by the outpouring of support from across our community, and I'm particularly grateful to share this news with you today:

I’m honored to be endorsed by the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund, LPAC, and Equality PAC β€” and I will be proud to be Washington state's first openly LGBTQ+ member of Congress.

Representation isn’t just symbolic. Having queer and trans people in office saves lives.

I’m proud of my work to strengthen the safety and privacy of trans and nonbinary people, refugees, survivors of domestic violence, and those seeking abortion or gender-affirming care in Washington state. I will bring this same energy to Congress to advocate for good policy and vote to expand safety, privacy, and freedom for all Americans.

These endorsements show that we have strong momentum building, but I need your help to keep it going! Success in my early fundraising efforts matters – it proves that I am a strong candidate in this race.

Donations of any size β€” $25, $100, or more β€” play a huge role in establishing the strength of my campaign right off the bat. Can I count on your support today? [[link removed]]

I am truly humbled by the amazing response to our campaign launch. I look forward to embarking on this journey with you β€” thank you so much,

- Emily
