PPT's Year-End Membership drive is an important moment for us. We spend the final weeks of each year reaching out to new and existing members to ask for financial and volunteer contributions. These gifts are vital for supporting our campaigns for affordable fares, high-quality transit and electing champions for public transit to public offices.

This year we're going to tell the story of how transit riders and transit workers collaborated together to raise public transit as a top issue in the County Executive race.
PPT member and Amalgamated Transit Union member Sascha Craig will talk about how he helped PPT hold ride alongs with all the candidates for County Executive. He'll share how these efforts helped candidates articulate their visions for transit and educate riders and workers on Election Day.
This transit rider & worker solidarity was instrumental in electing a candidate who has big visions for what our system can be.

Every year PPT volunteers make hundreds of phone calls to connect to members. We talk about people’s experiences on transit throughout the year; we invite them to our year-end celebration; and we ask them for their continued support of our work. This year, we’re also going to talk to members about our new strategic plan, get their feedback, and invite them to vote to approve it. These conversations with members are important to our organizing, and you can help PPT strengthen our work by volunteering below.
