The other day we sent you an email asking if you’d sign our petition to Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden.

So far, we’ve received over 6,000+ signatures from women, femmes, and allies all across the country. However, when I was checking the records I saw that you haven’t added your name yet, John.

I want to make sure you have a second chance to sign our petition asking the candidates to commit to both selecting a woman for Vice President and ensuring diverse representation in all presidential appointments.

Women’s March is working with a number of partner organizations to ask the candidates to commit to the following demands ↘

OUR DEMANDS:

  1. Select a woman for Vice President.

  2. Appoint women who share our values of justice and equality to at least half of all presidential appointments including the Cabinet.

  3. Ensure racial, religious, and gender identity representation are factored into all presidential appointments.

We’re ecstatic that over 6,000 of our supporters have signed the petition and support our demands. But we want to make sure you have a chance to sign too, John.

If we receive even more signatures from supporters in District of Columbia, it’ll send a big message to the candidates that our movement is growing, united, and serious about changing the status quo.
