STTA Live! Have You Thought About Year-End Giving?

With the winter holidays in full swing, many people use this time to consider ways to give back to their communities, make charitable donations, and to volunteer with organizations that focus on issues that they care about. For many LGBTQ+ organizations like PFLAG, events like Give Out Day, Giving Tuesday, and year-end-giving campaigns make up an integral part of how funds are raised to do life-saving work and achieve our mission.

Join us next Thursday, December 7th, at 4:30pm ET/1:30pm PT for our December episode of Something to Talk About Live!

Giving Tuesday is Tomorrow!

Tomorrow is #GivingTuesday, and we are grateful for your continued support.

Your gifts to PFLAG ensure that we can continue leading with love for another 50 years, moving us ever closer to creating an equitable, inclusive world where every LGBTQ+ person is safe, celebrated, empowered, and loved.

BONUS: Give $25 or more, and we'll send you a free #ProtectTransKids sticker! Give at pflag.org/givingtuesday

PFLAG Connects: Communities - December Meetings

PFLAG Connects: Communities (PCC) provide a safe, virtual, moderated space where people with shared experiences can connect each month. PFLAG National’s current communities gather people of Latino, Black/African American, and Asian American and Pacific Islander backgrounds to gain support, ask questions, and learn from others who have been through similar experiences.

We also host a Military Community meeting, in partnership with our friends at the Modern Military Association of America (MMAA).

Learn more and check out our upcoming meetings for December.

Q Chat Space: A program for LGBTQ+ teens

Holidays can be hard, especially for queer youth, and connecting with others is a great way to find support.

PFLAG National is proud to partner with our friends at CenterLink and Planned Parenthood on Q Chat Space, which provides live, chat-based discussion groups for LGBTQ+ and questioning teens ages 13 to 19. It is not a forum, and there is no video or audio. Everyone is chatting during the same pre-scheduled time. Chats are facilitated by experienced staff and volunteers from youth programs at LGBTQ+ centers across the United States.

Learn more at qchatspace.org!
