Hi John,

As Emily Busch's team, a large part of our job is centered around answering two important questions: "Who is Emily Busch, and why is she running for Congress?"

We've had a great time in the last few months answering these questions for folks across the district, but today, we're thinking about the next few months.

John, we've seen this before: as we get into the holiday season grassroots donation rates tend to decline significantly.

And we'll be the first ones to tell you – we have great momentum and need to kick it up as we reach the year’s end. Before we give you the details, will you chip in any amount toward our people-first, people-funded movement today?

John, we want to be as transparent as possible: the holidays leave us with less days to fundraise at the end of the year, which means preparing for 2024 starts now.

And your support is crucial. With folks like you in our corner, we can:

1️⃣ Continue to meet voters in-person to share Emily's story

2️⃣ Maximize our outreach efforts by connecting with voters via email and text

3️⃣ Secure essential campaign materials like yard signs, mailers and supplies for our volunteers.

We've got a lot ahead of us in 2024. That's why we're going to be working around the clock to tell folks about Emily's top priorities: addressing gun safety issues, securing reproductive freedom, and lowering costs for our working families.

But we can't do this alone. Especially before the holiday season, we could really use your help to prepare for 2024. With our End of Month Fundraising Deadline right around the corner, will you chip in $25, $35 or $50 to help us reach our $6,371 goal?

Thank you,
Team Emily

Emily Busch Headshot

Emily first learned the importance of community and helping others from her mom, a nurse, and dad, a manufacturing representative, while growing up in a tight-knit, middle-class Midwestern family.

The proud product of public schools, Emily worked hard in and out of the classroom, balancing her studies and interest in performing arts with an after-school job as a cashier at Ace Hardware. She went on to earn her B.A. in Biology from Indiana University and Masters from Michigan State University.

Now, Emily is running for Congress in Michigan’s 10th District to keep our kids safe, protect our rights, and lower costs for Michigan families.

Emily chose to move to Oakland County two decades ago because it was the place she wanted to raise her family – a place with friendly neighbors, good schools, and safe neighborhoods.

She and her husband, a retired firefighter and Marine, enjoy camping, fishing, and visiting national parks in their free time.
