I started the Jane Fonda Climate PAC because I believe it is more important now than ever before that we do everything we can to ensure that my generation leaves the next with everything they need for a livable, prosperous future. To me, that means we must do what we can to protect our air, water and other natural resources and hold those who profit from polluting our planet accountable for the harm they’ve caused. I’m reaching out today in hopes that you’ll join me in supporting that mission by splitting a contribution between my PAC and Future Forum PAC today.

1️⃣ We rely on grassroots supporters like you to make an impact. We wish we didn’t have to ask people to part with their hard-earned money, but our ability to support climate champions depends on people like you to fight back against the big financial warchests many of our candidates’ opponents bring to the table.

2️⃣ We focus our support where we can have the biggest impact. Our strategy combines direct financial support and leveraging our ability to reach people in down-ballot races where even modest financial support goes a long way. We have already been able to make a major impact on state & local races across the country, from Virginia’s state legislature to key victories for local Climate Champions in Denver, San Antonio, and Pittsburgh.

3️⃣ The climate crisis is here. Day after day, we are seeing the effects of burning fossils on our communities. The fossil fuel industry is dedicated to investing in politicians who will let them continue to get away with it. We can’t take a break from demanding climate action because the climate crisis is getting worse every day. And with your support, I strongly believe the climate movement is in great hands, but there is still so much work to be done.

We don’t say any of this to scare you – anyone who tries to scare you into giving them money should rethink that strategy. If nothing else, our goal is for you to feel hopeful – our team and the rest of the climate movement are working every day out of hope for a livable future, and we hope you consider yourself part of our team.
