$1 million – with every donation going twice as far.
Our Rights Can't Wait. Giving Tuesday 2X Match. <[link removed]>
What does it mean to raise $1 million in a single day, ACLU Supporter?
That's our goal for tomorrow, Giving Tuesday, and I'm giving supporters like you exclusive early access to a MATCH that will make your donation go twice as far. If we hit our goal, I'll tell you what that means:
It means the person without access to abortion in their state will have somebody fighting for them, fighting to restore reproductive rights.
It means the millions of people whose right to vote is under attack will have a legal team behind them, fighting back against the hundreds of voter suppression bills cropping up across the country.
It means students and teachers under threat of censorship will have a champion of free speech, fighting for the right to learn.
Those rights are on the line now and that is why they cannot wait, ACLU Supporter. The ACLU is the best-equipped organization to win these urgent fights: This year alone, we've blocked bans on abortion and birth control, stopped unconstitutional and discriminatory attempts to limit the rights of Black voters, and sued states that tried to ban books.
But to continue this meaningful work, we must hit our Giving Tuesday goal – and you have early access to make TWICE the impact right now: Our rights can't wait, ACLU Supporter, so please rush a generous contribution of $35 or more – and have every dollar DOUBLED – to hit this goal and defend the rights of all people nationwide. <[link removed]>
