Jack, I know you’ll receive a lot of Cyber Monday sale emails today, but I’m writing to you about something that defies price tags: like the redwood forests of the future.
You’ve probably heard about some of the most majestic giant trees – like the 2,000-year-old Clar Tree, on the Russian River Redwoods property, which Save the Redwoods League recently acquired. But once upon a time, each of them was just a little seedling, like me, in need of protection.
Right now, the League is raising funds to support forest restoration, which enables them to plant and nurture seedlings and restore forests – and the Board of Directors is triple-matching ALL gifts up to $150,000.
I want to triple my donation, so we can plant the old-growth forests of the future.
Today, when the League moves to purchase land for restoration, they face stiff and well-funded competition. When I consider those possible futures as a redwood seedling, it’s clear the dream life would be growing strong on a piece of land restored by the League.
A tripled donation helps the League restore forests and secure a future for young seedlings like me. A future where flora and fauna can thrive beneath my canopy.
Make this Giving TREESday count big!
Thank you for giving me a chance to grow into the next Clar Tree!
