In a short 6 months, STOP THE BLEED® Day

will be here!

The 7th annual STOP THE BLEED® Day is scheduled for May 23, 2024 and it promises to be the biggest one yet!

STOP THE BLEED® Day is part of the

STOP THE BLEED® Project.

The Project sponsors a number of programs, including the popular STOP THE BLEED® Grant and Scholarship programs.

The STOP THE BLEED® Project will announce its slate of programs for 2024 in February 2024, which will include both STOP THE BLEED® Month (May) and STOP THE BLEED® Day activities.

STOP THE BLEED® Day activities will include the Raise Your Hand campaign as well as new activities designed to create more awareness of the STOP THE BLEED® campaign.

“My name is Richard A Loyola, Stop The Bleed Instructor Number 23132 from The Philippines. As a Sergeant of the Army Reserve Command Search And Rescue Unit assigned at the Operations and Training, I am tasked to teach first aid including bleeding control and to our fellow citizens as well as my fellow Reservist. It is my advocacy to make sure that there is someone or at least one person per household that knows how to control severe bleeding in case of an injury or do CPR in case of sudden cardiac arrest.”

The Coalition’s goal is to support the growth and impact of the campaign by providing access to information and services to the growing STOP THE BLEED® community as well as financial support to the STOP THE BLEED® Project.

STOP THE BLEED® is a national campaign to encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. It is a public/private partnership led by the Department of Defense and many other stakeholders, including the Stop the Bleed Coalition.
