Together this past summer, we won our third precedent-setting case in two years at the Supreme Court. When we won for Gerald Groff, we won for all Americans.
Because of your support, we restored the right for all employees of faith to request and receive meaningful religious accommodations at work.
You and I have literally changed the landscape of the fight for faith.
But there is still work to do.
Despite this year’s win for people of faith in the workplace, some “woke” corporations and government actors don’t want to accept the Supreme Court’s ruling.
One of those is Michigan Health.
For 17 years, Physician Assistant Valerie Kloosterman worked for Michigan Health. She routinely received exemplary reviews and her supervisors described her as “professional,” “very ethical,” and a “pleasure to work with.”
After a mandatory “diversity and inclusion” training, Valerie asked for a religious accommodation because she could not affirm statements about gender identity that violated her deeply held Christian beliefs.
In response to her request, a Michigan Health representative with no medical training called Valerie “evil” and a “liar,” denigrated her religious beliefs, and even blamed her for gender dysphoria-related suicides.
Less than a month later, Valerie was fired for her religious beliefs.
That’s not only outrageous. It’s illegal.
You and I can no longer allow Michigan Health to trample the values and religious beliefs of its employees.
Take a Stand for Religious Freedom by Standing with Valerie. Tell Michigan Health to End Its Hostility Towards Faith.
Corporations and government-backed giants like Michigan Health don’t believe that respecting their staff’s sincerely held religious beliefs is good for business.
It’s time for you to join us in telling them otherwise.
With Giving Tuesday less than 24 hours away, you have a unique opportunity to tell Michigan Health to end their woke policies and to respect the people of faith that work for them.
Your gift today provides us with much needed resources our legal team needs to face off against this multibillion-dollar corporation. And with our $50,000 Challenge Grant, the impact of your gift will be multiplied many times over.
Will You Join Us on the Frontlines in this Fight and Help Secure Religious Freedom in the Workplace?
Together, we can fight and win for Valerie and all people of faith so that they can live out their faith in the workplace and beyond.
Yes, I will make a gift today »
Grateful for you,
Kelly
