Team,
I wanted to reach out about the current state of coronavirus in New Jersey and across the country. On Monday, New Jersey declared a state of emergency to help contain the spread of coronavirus.
Right now, people in our community and across this country have real concerns, and our first priority must be to ensure the safety of our families and neighbors.
I will remain focused on serving the people of Burlington and Ocean Counties, and working in a bipartisan way with our federal, state and local leaders to put an end to this crisis and help protect those who need it most.
In Washington, we're also making strides to address this threat. I voted to pass emergency funding to help respond to this outbreak crisis, and we are continuing to monitor the situation.
Out of an abundance of caution, I've made the decision to postpone our 2020 Campaign Kickoff Rally this weekend.
At times like this, it's important to remember the responsibility that all of us have to one another. I hope you will do your part to keep your family, your friends, and your community safe.
Thank you, and stay well,
Andy
