In Oregon, your investment provided funding for the state to provide grants that will support projects that conserve and improve habitat connectivity in Oregon. The $5 million appropriation to the Oregon Conservation and Recreation Fund, made possible by House Bill 5030, will help advance habitat connectivity-focused projects within the state’s recently identified Priority Wildlife Connectivity Areas, making Oregon one of the first states to provide funding for wildlife crossings and corridor projects without a direct correlation to roads.
