Friend,
20,608 medical consultations. 13,474 children vaccinated against measles. 154 malnourished children treated in an inpatient therapeutic feeding center.
The health crisis in Sudan is catastrophic. After the escalation of violence last spring, millions of people have been forced from their homes, including more than 738,000 people who have crossed into neighboring countries. The health system is buckling as food, water, and critical supplies are running short.
Qamar* and Salim* are among those displaced by the ongoing violence, having been forced to flee with their four children multiple times over the past several years. After the latest escalation in April, they ran out of food and money and fled Khartoum to the Um Rakuba camp, where their children received care at an MSF hospital.
Salim explains that his family is now totally reliant on support from relatives and other refugees—along with the medical care provided by MSF. “I don't have shelter, food, or anything here. We came to save our lives and protect our children.”

MSF is responding to multiple emergencies right now, providing lifesaving care to those in need, from bandaging war-wounded patients to providing mental health care to earthquake survivors. Your gift makes this urgent work possible.
From emergency treatment and surgical care, to maternal and pediatric care to water and sanitation services, MSF is providing critical medical services for people caught in some of the world’s most urgent humanitarian crises.
We are grateful for the role you play in making this impact possible.
