#GivingTuesday challenge to raise spiritual champions.

Dear John,

Biblical truth is in the crosshairs of our culture that openly opposes God's Word.

Popular culture, media, schools, and government are devoid of -- and in many ways hostile to -- orthodox biblical views on marriage, human sexuality, the sanctity of human life, and more.

The truth is: Shaping policy from a biblical worldview here in the nation's capital and across America is becoming increasingly difficult. But you can help make the difference today.

It all starts with raising up spiritual champions who will boldly stand for truth.

Tomorrow is #GivingTuesday, when millions around the globe will give to causes they believe in. Generous friends of FRC have put forward a $150,000 match to challenge you and thousands of FRC's followers to invest in discipling believers so we can turn the tide in America.

This Challenge Match means that your impact will be multiplied to reach twice as many Christians with the information and resources they need to stand for biblical truth.

And if you sign-up to become a monthly STAND member for $20 or more before the Tuesday midnight deadline, you'll receive a free copy of Dr. George Barna's newest book, Raising Spiritual Champions: Nurturing Your Child's Heart, Mind and Soul as a token of our appreciation in addition to your other membership benefits.

Double My Gift for the Next Generation

The need in this hour is great. Just look at the news headlines from The Washington Stand, which provide a snapshot of our cultural decay:

  • "Calif. Bill Could Strip Custody for Parents Who Do Not Affirm Their Child's Gender Identity"
  • "Michigan Ads in Red States Promote Abortion, Same-Sex Marriage"
  • "Over 1,000 School Districts Hiding Students' Gender Identities from Parents"

But a recent survey conducted by FRC's Center for Biblical Worldview (CBW) reveals another challenge regarding biblical truth among professing Christians. Although 43% claim to have a biblical worldview, extensive research indicates that only 6% of the adult population actually has one.

Scripture tells us "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2). It also calls Christians the "light of the world" and the "salt of the earth" (Matthew 5:13-16). But if we have lost our saltiness, what good are we?

If we think and act like the culture around us, how will we impact the world for Christ?

The late missionary, author, and speaker Elisabeth Elliot is attributed with saying, "The Word of God I think of as a straight edge, which shows up our own crookedness. We can't really tell how crooked our thinking is until we line it up with the straight edge of Scripture."

Transforming America begins with a spiritual solution -- studying the Word of God and living out its truths.

FRC continues to develop and distribute key resources to equip Christians with a biblical worldview so that they can stand for truth in their homes, communities, and at the ballot box. But we need your financial and prayer support to exponentially expand our reach.

So, will you take advantage of the limited-time $150,000 #GivingTuesday Challenge Match to double your impact and help us raise spiritual champions?

Make 2X the Impact!

As George Barna details in his book, parents are called to disciple our children in the ways of God (Proverbs 22:6).

But how can parents effectively teach their children to develop a biblical worldview when the pulpits are quiet on the issues being hotly debated in the public square?

The cultural pressures on pastors, churches, and ministries to stay silent about controversial topics is immense. That's why FRC created a network of pastors and ministry leaders to encourage spiritual leaders to be ambassadors of biblical truth in their communities.

Impacting the culture with biblical truth is best done by standing arm-in-arm with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Through pastor roundtables, conference calls, prayer networks, conferences, and more, FRC is building a united community of courageous leaders who refuse to hide their faith, instead promoting a culture where human life is valued, families flourish, and religious liberty thrives.

Men also have a unique role in their families and society to boldly live out the Word of God and proclaim it without compromise.

That's why FRC's Stand Courageous initiative has focused on equipping over 20,000 men to be servant-leaders in their homes, churches, and communities. We encourage men through weekly devotionals, regional events, monthly conference calls with pastoral leaders, and discipleship tools.

Biblical discipleship begins in the home. FRC equips sons, fathers, grandfathers, and husbands to have generational influence as "chaplains," because only when the truth of God occupies our homes can it effectively reach the halls of government.

Rooting believers in the Scriptures, empowering pastors, and equipping men with biblical truth are just a few ways that FRC is working to promote a biblical worldview in America.

This #GivingTuesday, help FRC raise up spiritual champions through our multifaceted strategy to equip Christians to pray, vote, and stand for biblical truth.

Jesus told his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field" (Matthew 9:37-38).

Thank you for your prayers and faithfulness in answering this call. Your partnership will enable FRC to advance faith, family, and freedom from a biblical worldview for future generations.
