Many years ago I encountered Quixote Center and its work to send aid to Nicaragua under assault in a deadly civil war.That aid was Gospel inspired and sustained, and so I readily said yes to supporting Quixote and have never stopped.

Quixote's work was often broad, but always social justice oriented. It was steadfast despite pressure from conservative and governmental forces.

Today Quixote's prophetic work focuses on supporting local efforts in Haiti and Nicaragua to live and recover from the ravages of war and capitalism. Further, joined with the Franciscan Network on Migration, it helps to provide safety and sustenance for people fleeing Latin America and Haiti and to work to change economic and immigration policies of our own U.S. government.

By saying YES to financial support for Quixote I make Quixote's Gospel work my own. It keeps me from being silent int he face of evil that I know so well.
