A.G. Holder is right. Across the country, we’re seeing Republicans ramp up their efforts to undermine our democracy so they can hold on to unearned power:

❌ In states like Texas and North Carolina, Republicans are forcing through new voter suppression laws ahead of the 2024 election.

❌ In states like Ohio and Wisconsin, GOP lawmakers are working desperately to protect gerrymandered maps.

❌ And at the national level, the new Speaker of the House Mike Johnson is a MAGA extremist and election-denier who played a key role in trying to overturn the 2020 election!

Here’s the good news, John: Across the country, we’re seeing significant victories in our fight to protect and strengthen democracy.

✅ In Ohio, voters rejected the GOP’s scheme to change the rules to make it harder to protect abortion rights, and they voted to enshrine the right to reproductive freedom in the state constitution.

✅ The Supreme Court overturned manipulated maps in Alabama for illegally discriminating against Black voters. Now, Alabama will have new, fair maps for the 2024 Election.

✅ The fight for fair districts is still ongoing across the country – states like Louisiana, Georgia, Florida, and others could also have fair maps before the next election.
