In 2022, we hosted youth-led campaigns in Arizona and Georgia to drive voter turnout for two of the most consequential Senate elections in the nation.

Our coalitions held voter registration drives at college campuses – where hundreds of young people registered to cast their first votes.

 

We had conversations with nearly 10,000 voters on-the-ground to educate and engage them on the upcoming election. And we sent nearly 2 million text messages to give voters that final reminder to get to the polls.

In the end, the Arizona and Georgia Senate races were decided by a fraction of votes – and reports from NPR confirmed that young voters’ overwhelming support for Democratic candidates made the difference in these key races.

 

As we prepare for an ever tougher fight in 2024, we know that youth organizers, activists, and voters will be vital to securing progressive victories up and down the ballot, from coast to coast.
