That’s why I was proud to cosponsor the For the People Act (HR 1), the boldest reform package since Watergate. This historic bill would:

Force presidential candidates to disclose their tax returns

Put an end to partisan gerrymandering

Expand voter enfranchisement for millions of Americans

Make our democracy stronger
Under normal circumstances, the Senate would have instantly taken a vote on this bill. But thanks to “Grim Reaper” Mitch McConnell, it’s been sitting on his desk for over a year.
