Help unlock $200,000 in additional support for birds.

[130 Donors Needed] ([link removed])

If there was ever a time when birds needed this community of bird lovers to come together for their protection, it’s now. The Rufous Hummingbird, Tricolored Blackbird, and Golden-winged Warbler—along with 67 other birds we love—are at a crisis tipping point.

We still need 130 new monthly donors today to rise to this challenge to help unlock $200,000 for birds before it’s too late. Can we count on you ? Start your monthly gift today, and do your best for the birds you love ahead of Giving Tuesday. ([link removed])

We’re not waiting for Giving Tuesday—and neither should you. ([link removed])

“Urgent action is needed to help these birds before they become endangered.” That was the dire warning just one year ago in the State of the Birds report. More than half of U.S. bird species are in decline! And of those, 70 species—including the beloved Rufous Hummingbird, Tricolored Blackbird, and Golden-winged Warbler—are identified as at a “Tipping Point.” If nothing changes, these birds, who have already lost at least half of their populations in the last 50 years, are on track to lose another 50% in the coming decades.

Birds are telling us they are in trouble. The only question is: Will you answer their call? We need 1,000 new monthly donors by Giving Tuesday to hit our goal and to unlock an additional $200,000 in critical funding for birds. Will you be one of the 130 donors today in order to keep us track? ([link removed])

[Bird declines have reached a tipping point.] ([link removed])

Birds are in a code-red crisis. And yet, we are not without hope. Using our proven combination of committed advocacy, empowering education, and expert on-the-ground conservation—all guided by science and grounded in our shared love for birds—we’ve been able to give species a better chance at survival. Look no further than the recovery of waterbirds and waterfowl: After 40 years of concerted wetland conservation efforts, these populations as a whole remain healthy—even while other species are in steep decline. From the Everglades to the Central Valley of California, Audubon’s efforts and partnerships have made a positive impact, and we’re not stopping there.

Birds are at a tipping point.

Tackling a threat as big as this will take all of us—but in the spirit of Giving Tuesday, we know the Audubon community can soar to birds’ defense. Please do your best for birds and be one of 130 monthly donors needed today. ([link removed])

Sincerely,

National Audubon Society
