Ruben emailed yesterday, and he set a pretty aggressive goal. 15,000 donations by the end of the month.

And this isn’t the news we wanted to share today, but we’ve got to do it.

We didn’t make enough progress to our goal yesterday. Coming on the heels of Thanksgiving, after the NRSC just dropped the first attack ad of the cycle against Ruben, after a poll showed Ruben down by a point against Kari Lake… the timing is terrible.

If we fall short this month, if we show any weakness, Kari Lake, the MAGA-right, and the GOP establishment in DC are going to pour money into attack ads against Ruben. They’ll take any opening we give them. We can’t let that happen.

So here’s the plan:

Send a $5 donation to Ruben’s campaign today. Yes, just $5. It might not seem like $5 is the kind of money that can win a Senate race, but it adds up fast when we’re all chipping in together. And we’ll put that donation to work immediately.
