It was one of the most chilling statements that Donald Trump has ever made.

Echoing the exact language used by dictators like Mussolini and Hitler, Donald Trump said that good people who stand against his vision of tearing down our democracy are “vermin.”

He said that as media reports show Trump and his extremist partners are planning to fire as many as 50,000 career civil servants to fill the government with MAGA loyalists.

American Military cemeteries around the world are filled with fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in World War II to defeat the likes of Mussolini and Hitler. It would be the final insult to them — the ones who Trump called “suckers” and “losers” — if he were re-elected.

The Veterans of the Greatest Generation and those who came after didn’t fight for this country to turn it over to this wannabe dictator. We didn’t swear an oath to defend the Constitution so this traitor can rip it to shreds. We didn’t beat him like a drum back in 2020 just to let him march right back to the White House.

Not on our watch.

Not a chance.
