I know what it’s like to spend the holidays away from the ones you love the most. After decades in the military and at NASA, I missed my share of Thanksgivings.

You don’t get those back. But you follow your orders, because you know you’re doing it for your country. For your loved ones.

A lot of good people are on deployments right now, keeping us safe. They missed this Thanksgiving, and they were on my mind last week. Still are today.

The least we can do for them is let them know we value their sacrifices, and that we’re doing what we can to support them.

But right now, more than 400 men and women who serve STILL wait to have their promotions approved in the Senate. Senator Tommy Tuberville has frozen their careers and thrown their lives into chaos, all for some political stunt.

This has gone on long enough. We can’t tolerate it any more.

Please — can you add your name here and let these officers know we haven’t forgotten them? We’re working on getting these promotions moving. But until then, tell them you have their back.
