Hello, True Texans!

I truly hope your Thanksgiving week was as perfect as mine! I had SIX meals to enjoy as I traveled the state to see several of our True Texan troops.  What a blessing that was for me!  Sometimes I get so busy with the desk work that I forget YOU are the reason I do what I do.  So Happy Thanksgiving! I'm thankful for each of you.

Not only are the November meetings in the books, but so are all meetings for 2023, as we do not host meetings in December!  If you missed this month, be sure to watch both of the videos we shared.  Or if you already saw them, watch again!

It's (Finally) Beginning To Look A Lot Like...

Yay! Our Christmas party is my favorite event! Nobody can argue how hard we work.  Why shouldn't we have some fun together too? When we socialize and build relationships, it bonds us as a team and makes us that much stronger. This is why I hope you will join us as we finish out the year with our Christmas parties! Dueling pianos is a super-fun, family-friendly, musical event with a lot of crowd participation. You will laugh and sing and enjoy the season with the best patriots on the planet! The more, the merrier!

Last Call for Scholarship Applications!

The deadline for our scholarship is Thursday -- and we only have 2 applicants for 3 prizes so far!  I know a few more that are coming in, but odds of winning are pretty high!  All high school students in Texas (regardless of what type of school they go to) are eligible.  BONUS - all winners are invited with 2 guests to either one of our Christmas parties too! True Texans Taking Charge - Election 2024

We've accomplished a lot already as we prep for Election 2024, and we aren't even close to being done yet! Here's a peak at just some of what's still coming up...

• This week our Williamson County satellite hosted our latest "Right Vs. ...Right?" forum on whether it's a good idea to include LGB in the GOP.  What a great conversation! The video wasn't quite ready to release it in time for today's newsletter, so I'll get it to you next week!

• Mark the True Texas Project Day of Action on your calendar now! On Jan 27, all across the state we will be hosting blockwalks and phone banking.
• Learn how to blockwalk and phone bank at any TTP January meeting!  Our next How To video addresses this important topic!
• Good news!  One of the candidates we're supporting no longer has a challenger!  The incumbent, Andrew Murr, was the House leader in the Paxton impeachment and got too scared to face the music.  He's announced he will not seek re-election.  Good job, grassroots!  Keep up the pressure!  Below are the rest of the races we are watching (so far).  There will be many more! Keep these candidates in mind for donations and volunteer work. ⇒They have stepped up to do something most of us won't.⇐

Remembering the J6'rs

At one of our Thanksgiving meals I got to speak with Daniel Goodwyn, one of those unjustly targeted after J6. I expressed to him how frustrated I am that we seem helpless to fight, and he offered several ways to get involved.  He's recommending prayer for the J6'rs and their families, donate to the J6 Fund, and send mail to the J6 prisoners.  Get more info on these things at StopHate.com/J6. 

A New Resource

In the spirit of TTP's Mission Statement, to educate and motivate citizen engagement in all levels of government, one of our members from the RGV chapter has put together a great website. I encourage you to check out his website: The Common-Sense Guide to American History. You'll find several resources that you can use to help spread our message.

Not everyone is for TEXIT; not everyone is against TEXIT; and nearly everyone has questions about TEXIT.  This is why it's a good issue to talk more about.  The Texas Nationalist Movement is collecting signatures to get a discussion of TEXIT on the ballot.  This would simply ask the voters:  do you want the Texas legislature to look into the details of TEXIT?  That's it!  Then we can all get our questions answered and make our own decisions.  If you would be willing to sign a petition supporting this ballot initiative, please click below.  They need 50,000 signatures by Dec 1 and are just a few thousand shy.  Will you sign?
