As a Tucson native, I always knew I wanted to be a Wildcat just like my dad. In fact, one of my earliest memories is being 5 years old at a UofA basketball game with him and breaking away to chase down Cap’n Eegee for his signature.

When I first got to the UofA, I wasted no time getting involved on campus. I double majored in Political Science and Communications and I volunteered with the Transfer Student Association to help support other students transferring from community colleges just like I did.

I also helped organize a student club that helped queer students on campus find community and a safe space to thrive. And it was at the UofA that I first got involved with Democratic campaigns by interning for the 2012 Senate race. 

I’ll always treasure my time on campus, and I’m proud to be using everything I learned during my time at the UofA to help mobilize and register students to vote on campuses across Arizona. 

So, that’s why I had to reach out — Can you pitch in $5.20 or more right now before the ‘Cats kickoff this afternoon?
