In a moment, I’m going to ask if you can chip in to my campaign before our end-of-month fundraising deadline this Thursday. But before I do, I hope you’ll let me explain why your contribution matters here and now.
Every day as the People’s Attorney of California, I am focused on fighting for you, the people. My office has been hard at work tackling a wide range of issues facing Californians. Here’s just a summary of our work this November:
- I’m suing massive corporations like Google, Meta, Jetblue, Spirit Airlines, and Agri Stats for harmful practices that hurt consumers;
- We released another groundbreaking report on gun violence data, this time showing the lethal link between guns and domestic violence, and continue to stand up for commonsense gun reforms that save lives;
- We’re holding California cities accountable and ensuring they do their part to build their fair share of affordable housing so that every California family, no matter their income, can afford a place to call home.
All of this — plus keeping up the fight for reproductive freedom, action on climate change, and so much more — is possible because of people like you.
Without your support, I wouldn’t be in this position to make progressive change, defend Californians’ most basic rights, and seek justice for those who’ve been wronged. Our people-powered campaign depends on grassroots donations to pay the bills and keep up the momentum for the fights ahead.
That’s why it’s imperative we reach every fundraising goal we set. But right now, with just five days left in the month, we’re not where we need to be.
Will you make a contribution of $5 or whatever you can afford to help us pick up the pace and reach our goal by Thursday’s midnight deadline?

I deeply appreciate anything you can give to fuel our campaign forward.
Thank you,
