Dear Friend,

As we near the end of the first quarter of 2020, I find myself considering the incredible things we’ve accomplished in just the last few months - and what lies ahead as we enter the heart of 2020.

I’m running for Congress to give my District a fair shot of survival. For folks in my region, change can’t wait. As a Social Worker and Addiction Counselor for nearly 40 years, I am well-equipped to take on the challenges facing my region. I’m proud to be running for Congress in Missouri’s 8th District. 

Here’s an overview of some of what we've accomplished since January:

• We hit - and exceeded - our 2019 fundraising goal, starting 2020 on strong financial footing.

• We travelled to DC to meet with key endorsement groups about our campaign. We were blown away by the support we received, and have been excited to roll out endorsements from National Women’s Political Caucus, VoteProChoice, and BlueAmerica. More exciting updates to come soon. 

• We continued hosting town halls all throughout MO-08, bringing in new faces in standing-room-only venues throughout the District. We’ve hosted 12+ of these since October 2019.

• We hired a full-time Field Director, growing our staff of smart, committed young people to six. We’re preparing to hit the ground running soon by knocking doors and making calls.

I greatly appreciate your support as we build this campaign. But, here’s the deal: We set a goal of raising $20,000 before the end of March to sure up our field operation. Reaching voters takes resources, from staff to supplies to supporting volunteers - and we need to hit this goal in order to reach as many voters as possible. It’s our biggest goal yet, but we believe that with your support, we can do this.

We’re already a quarter of the way to this goal. Can you pitch in now to get us closer?
