Dear Friend,

There’s something different about Thanksgiving this year. 

Of course I’m always grateful for His many gifts, such as family, faith, and the blessings of liberty. However, this year especially, I have much to be thankful for.

You’ve probably heard me call 2023 “the year of the harvest.” For over a decade now, you and I have worked together and fought to keep our values front and center in our legislature and in the courts.

This year, your perseverance has borne fruit in unprecedented ways:

• Thousands more children have a chance at life

• Parents have a greater say in their children’s education than ever before

• Our children have new protections against dangerous ideologies

• And so much more…

I’ve heard it said that today, we’re living in an ‘anti-culture,” where the throne of worship at the heart of our society sits empty. Our culture is constantly trying to fill the throne with anything and everything, leaving us adrift. 

I’m thankful to you for taking back the moral high ground and making biblical values the centerpiece of the important public debates that impact our lives in so many ways. 

This “year of the harvest” was a turning point for our state, and we are not turning back.
