Our democracy can’t afford to have Donald Trump or his MAGA acolytes in power again. Friend, the bottom line is this: Democratic governors have already begun setting things right by taking action on everything from expanding voting rights to civil rights to LGBTQ+ rights to fighting climate change, and protecting our very Democracy – by taking action to support Democrats in every way necessary.
Make no mistake: we’re dealing with this because of a man who faces felony counts for attempting a coup against his own country; stealing highly classified documents from the American people; committing election fraud; and running a crime syndicate in Georgia for the sole purpose of helping him steal the 2020 election. He ran and won on the most extreme far-right platform of any candidate in modern history in 2016. But the worst part? He’s still being allowed to run for president in 2024.
Democrats like us must be committed to doing every single thing we can think of to keep Donald Trump and his loyal cronies out of public office. Because if Democrats don’t win, it will be the last free and fair election we ever have in this country.
