Giving Thanks
I hope you’ve had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends and wish you safe travels as you continue to enjoy this time together with loved ones. Our team has spent time with our residents and neighbors this month as our season of thanks continues.
Judiciary House Visit
#Team McDuffie enjoyed food and fellowship with our seniors at Judiciary House on H St. NW. It was wonderful to converse and catch up with these residents while tending to some constituent service needs as we learned about the timing for the transformation of units at the property. We look forward to making a return visit to the property soon.
Vernon Davis Foundation
It was a joy to be with our native son, and proud Dunbar High School grad, Vernon Davis, earlier this week. His foundation was joined by Santana Moss and others for a Thanksgiving giveaway for residents. Vernon has never forgotten the District and we are grateful for his generosity and joyous spirit.
Safeway Feast of Sharing
Thousands of residents came together on Wednesday at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center for the Safeway Feast of Sharing. It was an honor to spend time with them and the many volunteers who made the event a success.
Turkey Bowl
Congratulations to the Dunbar Crimson Tide on their Turkey Bowl Victory! The Ballou Knights were worthy runner-ups. It was wonderful to see so many fans and families in attendance at this time-honored classic.
Small Business Saturday
