City Council Meeting November 28, 2023
Hurst City Council is meeting at City Hall on November 28 at 5 p.m. The meeting time has been adjusted due to the Christmas Tree Lighting event starting at 5:30 p.m. View the council meeting agenda online at hursttx.gov/agendas.

Christmas Tree Lighting
You're invited to kick off the Christmas season at our annual Christmas Tree Lighting event on November 28! 🎄🎅
Activities to look forward to:
- Take a ride on our snow-tubing hills
- Santa himself is on-site to take photos with all the good little boys and girls
- Kids can put together a fun holiday craft
- Stroll through Santa's Christmas Marketplace, where you can jump-start your holiday shopping!
- Lots of photo opportunities with our strolling costumed characters
- Pet a fun furry animal in our petting zoo
- Get a cool design at face painting
- Delight in brilliant performances by our local elementary schools as they perform throughout the event
- Enjoy a holiday firework show!
- Enjoy a bite at our food court (food and beverages for purchase).
There is no on-site general parking. Limited Handicap parking is available in the Hurst Conference Center parking garage (must have a handicap placard visible). General parking is available in the TCC parking lot located at the Campus Drive entrance.
Santa's Mailbox
Santa wants to hear from you! You can send your letter to Santa's Inbox at [email protected], or drop your letter (with a return address) in one of Santa's mailboxes, located at the Hurst Recreation Center and Hurst Public Library. Send your letter between December 1-15, and he will write you back!

Don't leave an important member of the family out this holiday season! Bring your pup dressed up (or in their birthday suit) to catch a photo with Santa! This event is free; donations for the Hurt Animal Shelter are encouraged and appreciated.
Sensory-Friendly Photo and Breakfast with Santa
December 9 9-10:30 a.m. Hurst Recreation Center (700 Mary Dr.)
Santa photos, or the holidays, can be overwhelming for some children. We are excited to offer a time for those families in our community with children with sensory or mobility needs to participate in a calmer environment. Snap an up-close or socially distanced photo with Santa, create fun crafts, and enjoy a few other activities. This event is free; Mission Central food bank donations are encouraged and appreciated. Reservations are now available online.
