John, believe it or not, sending these emails isn’t my favorite part of the job.
But we have to do it anyway, because, in full transparency, we just can’t win this competitive race without ongoing grassroots support from people like you.
I have more to say about where your donation will go, but first, I need to ask you to chip in what you can before midnight.
This race is going to be incredibly tight all the way to Election Day. And the fact is, the result might just come down to which campaign can invest the most in voter outreach.
We’re already committing significant resources to making sure NC voters hear our message and have all the information they need to cast a ballot.
That’s set to be even more of a challenge now that the NC GOP has passed anti-voter legislation designed to make it harder for people to vote.
So we’re going to have to connect with voters by all possible means: in person at their doors, online through digital advertising and emails like this, via text messages and phone calls, with TV and radio ads, and more. Wherever voters get their information, that’s where we need to be — and it’s not cheap.
John, Mark Robinson is counting on national Republican allies to pour in out-of-state cash. I’m building my campaign with grassroots momentum.
That also means that missing our fundraising targets could throw our plan off. We carefully budget all our efforts and expenses — and falling short of our projected resources would mean we’d have to cut back.
If you haven’t yet had the chance to make your first donation, now is the time to do so. The earlier your contribution comes in, the more effectively we can plan our voter outreach.
So please — before midnight: Make your first grassroots gift to help hit our goal and win this race for Democrats!
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Your support means more than I can say,
