2020 Legislative Crossover Day
Join us at the Georgia Capitol tomorrow for the official half way point of the 2020 Georgia Legislative session. Cohosted by the Young Democrats of Atlanta, this is your chance to meet your state lawmakers and make your voice heard.

We will be meeting in Room 122 at the Capitol and will be hosting attorney and activist, Christopher Bruce, GBPI's Jennifer Owens and NGP's Bentley Hudgins to speak about 2020 legislative session updates. We will also be delivering cookies and letters to Democratic representatives. It is a fantastic opportunity to be present at the Capitol when bills cross over from each chamber for passage and show support for or against important issues. As always, we suggest using MARTA or ride share services as parking is limited and cost money. The closest MARTA stop is Georgia State station.

Coronavirus aka COVID-19 Update
Much of our work requires us to be in the community and exposed to the public. There is no need to panic. We are monitoring this situation closely and will be moving our conference to an entirely digital format if the University of Georgia closes the campus before our convention. Read the Speaker of the House's comments regarding the Crossover Day event here.
