It's that time of year again. Libertarian candidates (Like me) all
over the state of Texas are scrambling to ensure their names are
considered at Convention (we don't Primary) for the ballot. The Texas
Legislature passed new laws requiring a "filling fee" of all
candidates. The new law makes this #PollTax a requirement of
eligibility. Failure to Pay the fee or submit signatures in lieu, will
give the Secretary of State an opportunity to use a new power to
remove candidates from the ballot.
Please help me by making either a "one time" or "monthly" donation
to the campaign by Dec 7th to ensure we can pay the $3,125.00 fee by
Dec 11th. We promise to dump "one-dollar bills" on the desk of the
Secretary of State as a form of protest. Maximum donations are limited
to $3300.00 per individual, or $275.00 a month if starting in
November. (Monthly donations will automatically stop on 10/31/24)
