Hi

We’ve been asked to support a 17 year old, pregnant with her first child.

She’s had a tragic life, in and out of foster care for as long as she can remember.

For now, she’s living with her supportive 18 year old partner and his family. It’s not a stable place for them to live though. After hospital, they really don’t want to bring their baby back there.

This new mum is 30 weeks pregnant. She should be winding down and getting ready for the baby to arrive. Instead, she’s finding it incredibly hard to cope with finding a new place to live and getting ready for her new baby at the same time.

I’m sure you agree that this young couple’s new baby deserves the best possible start to life. Will you please help by donating today? [[link removed]]

This mum wants her baby’s life to be different to hers. She can make this happen, but she needs your help.

Their social worker has asked for a long list of items to ensure this family feels supported and connected. A pram, clothes, linen, nappies, toys, baby wipes and anything else we can provide to take some of their stress away.

We all know how important these things are for a baby. This mum doesn’t drive yet, so she really needs that pram.

The family’s social worker told us:

“Keeping the baby in this young couple’s care will be almost impossible without the basic essentials they so desperately need”.

I know it would break their hearts if that happened. They really want to care for their baby. Will you please help by donating today? [[link removed]]

Our Breaking Social Isolation Project [[link removed]] helps families connect with their community by providing safe items such as prams, car seats and baby carriers.

For every car seat, pram or carrier donated, we spend time ensuring it is sparkling clean and completely safe when it’s given to a family.

We must pay for a roof over our heads so our valued volunteers can strip down each item and check every strap, buckle and brake to make sure they are safe for their new family.

And we must purchase new car seats and prams, at cost price, when stocks are running low.

We can’t keep families connected without you. Which means we can’t help this young family without you either.

Please donate today [[link removed]] and show them they’re not alone.

Warm regards

Julia
